Hi, my name is Brian Hurst and I live in Southampton, UK.  I have a 1968 Mk3 Spit, with GT6 engine and running gear. 

Fuelled by 2 HS6 and standard pancake filters it is normally very quick.  I enclose a (poor quality, sorry) photo below for your interest ...

An obvious modification is the Le-Man fibreglass front to accomodate the 6 cyl.  I am not sure of the origin of the front.
