Craig Falkingham - Triumph GT6+

June 2003 - Sad news about Craig

We've been told of some very sad news about Craig.  Craig died on the 21st June 2003 at the age of 45 in a motor accident.  A friend of Craig's (W Moffat) emailed us to say :

"Hello, I heard a news report the other night about a head-on collision in which a man was killed.  The newsreader did not pronounce the name properly so I did a search on what I thought she was trying to say and came up with this page.

Unfortunately, it turns out that my suspicions were correct.  Apparently, he attempted to pass and collided with an oncoming vehicle.  I grew up on the same street as Craig, attended the same schools, etc.  Although he was two years older I did know him to say hello.  Anyway, just thought you might like to know.  His obituary, taken from The Windsor Star appears below.  By the way, he was not driving the Triumph."

Good grief ... you could eat your dinner off that !

Good evening Neville;  Craig Falkingham here from Tecumseh, Ont.Ca.

I happened across your GT6 site the other night and thought that you'd might like to make another addition to 'Your Cars' link on your site, great job on building your site by the way.  (If I could find the time I would like to build my own ......... some day).

Anyways, I am sending some JPG's for you to look at for now and in the meantime I will try to write up a little history and get together a series of photos with explanations.

I'm glad I found your site; write to you later or visa/versa.

Craig Falkingham

P.S.:  I have had this GT since 1973, bought it for $1000, drove it, raced it, parked it several times, restored it 3 times( kept on wanting to make improvements on my work), And I finally got it the way I like 4 years ago - with 2 years to get all the final little bugs out!
