Day 5, the steering shaft is now refinished and a new rubber boot from Ferrari UK is in place. Rear firewall has been painted.

Day 6, both alternators are fully refinished and rebuilt with new parts and voltage regulators. What a difference!

Day 6, cam covers are ready for the paint shop

Day 7, a freshly reassembled power steering pump It looks new but this is the original part refinished to the highest level.

Day 7, a fully refinished airbox. The painting, zinc plating, cadium plating and cleaning has taken hours of work to get to this point.

Day 7, a pile of freshly cadium plated nuts and bolts like the car would have had from new 25 years ago.
These are difficult to buy so the plating was done locally.

Day 7, a tray of distributor bits ready for reassembly after checking the distributor over thoroughly. No problems were found.

Day 7, all the cadmium and zinc plating here will make a huge difference to the appearance of the engine.
Parts of the wiper assembly, bonnet latches, and many various bits are shown.
