Day 7, final painting of power steering pump, air boxes, battery tray, bonnet hinges, pulley and assorted brackets.

Day 7, here you can see the reassembled cam covers with the linkage installed. Each of these took almost an hour to put together.

Day 7, I have yet to pull the main pulley as it is hitting the steering arm so the engine will need to be
jacked up so the pulley can be refinished and the crank seal replaced.

Day 7, more engine brackets cleaned and plated.

Day 7, new clean parts start to pile up.

Day 7, setting the timing using dowels and lots of patience. The timing was off by quite a bit so I expect the car will have an
increase in horsepower when running two days from here.

Day 7, the front timing gear covers are test fitted as the reassembly starts.

Day 9, test fitting the covers and new gaskets.

Day 9, clear coat on the fuel injectors and various parts. The crank pulley is now painted.
